Configuring System Message Logging
Purpose
specified, the
default of 5 is
used. The no
option disables
module log
messages.
(Optional)
Displays the
module logging
configuration.
Enables logging
messages from
the specified
facility that have
the specified
severity level or
higher. Severity
levels range from
0 to 7:
• 0 –
• 1 – alert
• 2 – critical
• 3 – error
• 4 – warning
• 5 –
• 6 –
• 7 –
To apply the same
severity level to
all facilities, use
the all facility.
For defaults, see
the show logging
level command.
The no option
resets the logging
severity level for
emergency
notification
informational
debugging
