Settings > Scan Settings
Enable Center Window
codes inside the center window.
Redundancy Level
levels decode multiple times before reporting
(slower but more accurate).
Security Levels — Higher security levels are
for lower quality bar code prints.
Inverse 1D Mode — Set to read regular codes
only, inverse codes only, or auto-detect.
1D Quiet Zone Level
levels try harder with marginless codes.
Intercharacter Gap Size
normal or large.
Note that these settings can have great
influence on both scan speed and scan decoding
accuracy. For detailed technical information on
the impact of redundancy, security and quiet
zone levels, as well as other scan-related
settings, please contact your Janam technical
