Here are basic steps to remove common stains from boat upholstery. Consult a Yamaha Boat

Motor oil
Permanent marker*
Suntan lotion*
Tar/Asphalt
* May cause permanent staining.

Medium-soft brush with warm, soapy water
Yamaclean All Purpose Cleaner or equivalent
Isopropyl alcohol (91% is best)
Mixture of 1 tablespoon (15 ml) ammonia, 1/4 cup (60 ml) hydrogen peroxide, and
3/4 cup (177 ml) water
Wipe or scrape off excess (chill gum with ice first)
Name brand ink remover
STEPS
(rinse with clean, warm water and then dry after application)
