3.6.1.4 Parental Control
The Parental Control menu enables you to implement a channel access control and to the menu Installation >
Search >Channels using four-digit numeric password, Personal Identification Number (PIN), and change the
same PIN.
NOTES AND WARNINGS
This menu is always protected with PIN.
The PIN code is defined by the user before installing the device (par. 1.3.3).
If after editing, no longer remembers the personal password, reset the receiver to the initial installation
position of the menu Receiver Reset (par. 3.1.2).
Within this menu it provides the following security features:
1.
New PIN/Confirm PIN: PIN change.
2.
Menu Lock: locks (ON) or (OFF) unlock access to some important password menu.
3.
Parental Control/Rate Setting: enables (ON) or disables (OFF) the protection of the minors. It carries
out a control on the vision of some sensitive events. When the tuned channel transmits an event with
information of vision protection by an audience of age or above Rate Setting set in the receiver menu
block the channel. Then appears in the video request channel vision release via PIN code entry.
Save your changes by pressing the Red button (save).、
3.6.1.5 Power Management
The receiver is equipped with a preset power saving function, which is possibly deactivated by this menu.
Spend three hours in operating mode without any command from the user, it will go into standby automatically.
In addition, whenever the receiver is switched off in standby mode, it will stay for little more than 30 minutes in a
state of standby alert, during which performs any updates as a search for new channels, then switch to a deep
standby, of power saving.
