2 Section for basic usage
WARNING
Before reading this chapter you should have read the previous chapter.
In order to simplify the use of the receiver and the management of several digital channels, there are some
Windows and menus accessible by pressing a single button on the remote control (para.1.3.2). They are
designed for frequent use and their functions are indispensable for fast interaction with the receiver. For
advanced use, settings and customizations, refer to Chapter 3.
2.1 Banner information of channel
Each time you change channel or press the INFO button, appears at the bottom of the screen for some seconds
an Info window, also known as channel information banner on the tuned channel. The information that can be
present in this banner, if transmitted by the broadcaster, are:

The channel number.
2.
The name of the channel.
3.
The current time.
4.
Timetable and current and next program.
5.
Additional data as the teletext data (Text icon) and subtitles (Sub icon).
When the channel banner is active at the current or next event:
Press the red button (Channel Info) to get technical information on the tuned channel and the
signal of antenna.
Press the green button (Extended Info) to see the extended information.
Press the yellow button (Event Info) to display information about the event.
Finally, to exit from these informational boxes, use the EXIT button.
NOTES
If the issuer does not transmit some of the above information, they will not appear on the banner of
channel.
Although the channel banner indicates the presence of additional data, they may be invalid and cannot be
used.
2.2 Quick Selection of TV/Radio channels
The TV/RADIO button on the remote control is used to access the desired channels mode, television or Radio.
Next, to change channels, do one of the following ways:
Press PROG +/PROG- on the remote control.
Enter the desired channel number by using the numeric keys 0-9 on the remote control.
For a convenient way to manage a large number of radio and TV channels that digital broadcast offers, use the
accessible quick channel list during the vision of the programs by pressing the LIST button,
then:
Press OK on channel TV list (or Radio Channels)
Press
/
buttons to scroll through the list of one channel at a time.
Press the PROG-/PROG + button to scroll through the list of a page at a time.
Press the OK button on the chosen channel to tune.

3.2.1.
