4.3.8 CPU Configuration
Display CPU-related related information and features supported.
Hyper-threading
Enabled for Windows XP and Linux (OS optimized for Hyper-Threading
Technology) and disabled for other OS (OS not optimized for Hyper-Threading
Technology). When disabled only one thread per enabled core is enabled.
Active Processor Cores
Number of cores to enable in each processor package.
Intel Virtualization Technology
When enabled, a VMM can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided
by Vanderpool Technology.
Hardware Prefetcher
To turn on/off the MLC streamer prefetcher.
Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch
To turn on/off prefetching of adjacent cache lines.
CPU AES
Enable/disabled CPU Advanced Encryption Standard instructions.
