12. Check that "1-Sided -> 1-Sided" is selected.
13. Place the chart in the document feeding tray
(with the side having an arrow facing up).
14. Press the start key, and check the difference in
the width C between the chart and the dis-
charged copy sample.

Note:
Perform this adjustment if necessary.
15. Place the chart in the document feeding tray.
(Make sure that the blank surface of the chart
faces up.)
16. Make a duplex copy sample in full size.
Note:
If the Test Copy screen on the Service Mode is
displayed, touch "2-Sided -> 2-Sided" and then
press the start key to make a copy sample.
17. Check whether the difference in the width C
between the chart and the copy sample is within
the specified range.

– C of the chart
Specifications: 0 ± 1.0 mm
* If the difference in the width C does not fall within
the specified range, perform the following
adjustment.
18. Display the Service Mode screen, and touch
"ADF."
Note:
If the Test Copy screen on the Service Mode is
displayed, touch "END" twice.
19. Touch "FD-Mag. Adj.(B)."
20. Check that "Orig. Feed Zoom Ad" is selected.
21. Specify a value using the -/+ key.
Adjustable range: -2.00 % to +2.00 %
(0.1% per step)
If the difference in the width C is greater than the
specifications, use the – (minus) key.
If the difference in the width C is smaller than the
specifications, use the + (plus) key.
22. Touch "Test Copy."
23. Select the tray loading paper for the test copy.
24. Touch "2."
25. Touch "2-Sided -> 2-Sided."
26. Place the chart in the document feeding tray.
(Make sure that the blank surface of the chart
faces up.)
27. Press the start key, and check the difference in
the width C between the chart and the dis-
charged copy sample.
