Check that the corresponding wires are properly
connected.
Check that there is no abnormality in the operating
element system.
When the INPUT SELECT switch for the
channel whose signal is not output is set to
LINE, is the LINE input signal output?
Yes
Is conduction of the wires for the
microphone OK?
Perform a continuity check between
the two ends of each wire.
Yes
Is the resistance value of the TRIM VR
for the microphone normal?
Points to be checked:
MIC1: Between Pins 1 and 3 of W702
MIC2: Between Pins 1 and 3 of W701
MAX: Approx. 10 kohms
MIN: Approx. 0 ohm
Yes
Check that the AC adapter properly supplies
5 V power.
Is the voltage on the source
side of the FET normal?
+15 V: Q3
-15 V: Q5
Yes
Check that the AC adapter properly supplies
5 V power.
No
Is 5 V output from the
output terminal of IC40?
Yes
Is the input to IC40 approx. 6.5 V?
Yes
Check that the AC adapter properly supplies
5 V power.
Is the input to IC18 5 V?
Yes

One of the wires is broken.
Replace the broken wire.
No
The TRIM VR for the microphone is in failure.
Replace it.
The OP amplifier is in failure.
Check the peripheral parts. If no problem is found,
replace the following part:
MIC1: IC2
MIC2: IC8
The DC/DC converter IC is in failure.
No
Check the peripheral parts. If no problem is found,
replace the DC/DC converter IC.
The FET is in failure.
Replace it.
No
A bead is in failure.
Replace the part in failure.
Corresponding parts: L21, L5
The DC/DC converter IC (IC39) is in failure.
No
Check the peripheral parts. If no problem is found,
replace the DC/DC converter IC.
The regulator IC is in failure.
Check the peripheral parts. If no problem is found,
replace the regulator IC.
Q1, Q2, or Q47 is in failure.
No
Replace the part in failure.
If the problem persists, replace the DSP PCB Assy.
The regulator IC is in failure. Check the peripheral
parts. If no problem is found, replace IC18.
If the problem persists, replace the DSP PCB Assy.
