There is no response to pressing of the
jog dial. The sensitivity when the jog dial
is pressed is low.

Check that the corresponding wires are properly connected.
Check soldering of the wires for signals corresponding to
pressing of the jog dial.
Check the Sensitivity adjustment value does not
lower too much.
Does the signal at Pin 14 of CN2B on
CONTROL PCB Assy A or
CN3B on CONTROL PCB Assy B change
in response to pressing of the jog dial?
Yes
Check that the corresponding wires are properly
connected.
Is there any abnormality in the waveforms
of signals from Pins 1, 2, 4, or 6 of
CN5A or CN5B?
Yes
Check that the corresponding wires are properly
connected.
Do the signals from Pins 2–9 of
CN502 change in response to touching
of the PAD?
Yes
Check that the corresponding wires are properly
connected.
No
Are the LEDs that do not light
those of a level indicator?
Yes
Is there any other LED that does not light
in the same segment (SG**) or on the same
signal line (K**) of the matrix circuitry?
Yes
Is there only one LED that does not light?
Yes

Replace the defective part.
The UCOM (IC24) is in failure.
Replace the DSP PCB Assy.
If there is an abnormality in the waveform of the

Replace the defective part.
The UCOM (IC24) is in failure.
Replace the DSP PCB Assy.

Replace the PAD & FSR Assy.

Replace the defective part.

connected. If it is OK, then the IC to which the LED in
question is connected is defective. Replace the IC
which target LED is connected to.
Check the diode of the LED that does not light.
If it is OK, then the IC to which the LED in question is
connected is defective. Replace the IC which target
LED is connected to.
