- Page 2 Step 1 Switch on the device, apply electrodes Switch on the device by pressing the green button Apply defibrillation electrodes. Connect electrode cable to device. The yellow electrode indicator LED will go out as soon as the device is able to identify an acceptable electrode resistance.

Checking the electrodes Firmly press the defibrillation electrodes in alternation onto the patient's skin and note which electrode causes the message "Check electrodes" to disappear.
