TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience problems, check the following;
Symptom
Start/Stop switch "O"
Choke not OFF(cold engine)
Out of Fuel.
Bad fuel, trimmer stored
Engine will not

Spark plug faulty, fouled, or has
incorrect gap, fuel filter clogged,

NOTE:
If vibration persists, or other problems remain please contact the Helpline for advice.
Cause
Move to position "I".
Refer to section "Operation" Fig. H2.
Move choke to the OFF position. Refer to
section "Starting the machine."
Add fuel and press priming bulb to fill
carburetor.
Drain fuel tank and carburetor, refuel with
fresh fuel mix.
Clean or replace the spark plug. Check the
spark plug gap. Replace or repair faulty
components as needed.
Refer to section "maintenance point 8."
Check fuel for water or sub standard mix. If
the fuel is not correct replace with new fuel.
Check, clean or replace air filter.
Replace fuel filter,
adjust cable, or replace if necessary.
Move Start/Stop switch to the "O" position
and disconnect the spark plug cap from the
spark plug. Remove grass from output shaft
and cutting attachment area.
Adjust idle screw.
Replace or repair faulty components as
needed.
Tighten cutting line head.
This is not user serviceable, contact the
Helpline.
Replace with proper fuel.
Check the engine and silencer after
complete cooling.
Replace any damaged parts.
