2) Check the filter to be sure it is clean and in good
condition. If the filter is dirty, clean the air filter in warm
soapy water, rinse, and allow to dry thoroughly. Replace
the filter if it is damaged. Reinstall the filter and air filter
cover.
NOTE: Operating the engine without an air filter, or with
a damaged air filter, will allow dirt to enter the engine, and
cause rapid engine wear and erratic running.
4. FUEL CAP
A leaking fuel cap is a fire hazard and must be replaced
immediately.

5. SPARK PLUG

The spark plug must be cleaned or replaced every 20
hours to ensure proper performance of your product.
1) Remove the spark plug cover by unscrewing the screw
on the cover with the screwdriver. (See Fig. K1)
2) Remove the spark plug from the engine by rotating
anticlockwise with the socket spanner provided
(See Fig. K2).
3) Follow these cleaning instructions (See Fig. K3).
· Spray the spark plug with a quality carbon cleaner.
· Gently clean using a wire brush.
· Install the new or cleaned spark plug with 0.6~0.7mm
electrode gap and reassemble completely before use.

6. REPLACING THE CUTTING BLADE

When the blade is blunt or damaged, it will affect the
tool's performance, so you must replace the blade
immediately.
ATTENTION: Spindle is provided with left hand thread
open clockwise.
Refer to "ASSEMBLING THE METAL SAFETY
GUARD AND CUTTING BLADE ".
NOTE: If one side of the blade is damaged simply
remove and turn the blade over.
Use only the recommended cutting blades.
7. EXTRACTION OF NYLON LINE
The nylon line can be cut off by debris or by coming into
contact with solid parts, on these occasions follow this
procedure to extend the cutting line.
1) Stop the engine and wait until the spool has stopped.
Push rim of coil, turn it a little to the left, then to the right.
2) Pull out both nylon lines until the line is long enough to
be cut off by the line cutting blade.
8. REPLACE NYLON LINE
NOTE: Stop the engine and wait until the spool has
stopped.
