Automatic Image Rotation with Searchable PDF

whAT & whY
Typically, when you scan in a multi-page document where some pages are portrait
and some are landscape, the PDF document will show the pages in the way they
were scanned and you would need to rotate the pages individually .
The idea behind the Auto Orientation feature is that when a document is scanned
as a PDF, the landscape pages will be automatically rotated in the PDF file . This ONLY
works when Searchable PDF is used, since the OCR engine must rotate the page
in order to read the image and create the OCR file behind the scenes .

system . The challenge is that not all documents are orientated in the same direction .
