OvERvIEw SUmmARY APPLICATION
The Scan-to-Home Function is a supplementary protective security measure that
compliments the numerous forms of security already available through bizhub MFP
devices . When Scan-to-Home is enabled in an Active Directory environment, documents
scanned at the compatible MFP are sent to a folder on an authorized network share,
which is typically an individual's shared network folder (as defined in Active Directory) .
Scan-to-Home can only be used with External Server Authentication using Windows
Active Directory .
Note: The User Name and Password should be entered at the MFP is the same user
name and password entered at the PC (Windows Login).
The following procedures describe how to specify the necessary settings
on multifunctional products through web-based access to output documents
using the Scan-to-Home Function .
