2. Place the scale on an hard, even, flat and dry surface.
3. Reset the scale if you have not done that earlier. See previous text.
4. Start the scale by tapping in the middle of the scale. See previous picture about
resetting the scale.
5. The display flicker 4 lines and then shows "0.0".
6. When the display shows "0.0", step on the scale, (place your feet at the same
position each time) and divide the weight between toe and heel. Remember
to stand completely still. Your measurement will appear on the display.
7. If it takes more than 5 seconds from the display showing "0.0" until you step
on the scale the display will automatically shut off and you have to start over.
8. The scale will automatically shut off after 10 seconds which prolongs the
lifetime of the battery.
If you overload the scale (max 150 kg) the display will show "Err".
Important!
To achieve a correct result you ought to follow these guidelines:
• Place the scale on an even, flat and dry surface.
• Place the feet on the same place on the scale every time.
• Divide your weight evenly between toe and heel.
• Stand still.
If the scale is overloaded the display will show "Err".
Battery
When the batteries need to be changed, the display will show "Lo". Remove the
battery compartment lid, remove the old battery by pull outwards the little black
knob which is on the side of the battery slot and coax out the battery (pic A). Place
a new lithium battery type CR2032 by putting one edge under the electrode, then
press down the other edge inside the slot from the knob side (pic B and C), then
put the battery compartment lid back on.
Cleaning
Never submerse the scale under water or any other kind of liquid, also it should
not be placed to warm. To clean the scale surface, use a damp cloth and dry after.
