Before use
Before you use the scale for the first time you should read the instructions
carefully and save them for future use.
Since the scale is electronic you should be aware that the function can be affected
by changes in temperature or if you move the scale. The function can also be
affected by other electronic appliances as cell phones, heating coils, microwaves
etc. Place the scale in a room with normal temperature and let it acclimatize for
24 hours before you use it for the first time.
Before the first use or if the scale has been moved always do this procedure,
otherwise it may lead to wrongfull weighing. Start to reset the scale by tapping
in the middle of the scale, the display flicker 4 lines for about 3 seconds, after that
it shows "0.0", let it automatically turn off.
The tolerance of the scale is 1%, it means that if you weigh 70 kg it may vary
between 69,3 and 70,7 kg. The scale has an interval of 100 g, so if you weigh
70,75 the display will show either 70,7 or 70,8 kg (with 1% tolerance).
Helpful hints
To ensure reliable readings, always stand completely still on the scale, otherwise
the result may be misleading. Clothing or just eaten meals can have effect on
the readings. If you want to monitor your weight during a long period of time
you should consider weighing your self approximately the same time of the
day each time, preferable without clothes and without moving the scales in
between.
Use
1. Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment underneath the
scale to activate the battery.
