When the engine will not start:
Be sure to perform the following checks in a well ventilated area.
1.
Is there enough fuel?
2.
Is the fuel valve lever turned to the ''ON'' position?
3.
Is gasoline reaching the carburetor?
To check, loosen the carburetor drain screw with the fuel valve lever
turned to the ''ON'' position.
Fuel should flow freely.
If any fuel is spilled, make sure the area is dry before starting the
engine. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite.
4.
Is there enough oil the engine?
5.
Is the fuse burned out?
6.
Is the battery cable connected properly?
7.
Are the spark plug caps installed correctly?
8.
Is the chuter cover installed correctly?
9.
Check the spark plug for dirt, wet and the gap.
a.
Clean the spark plug.
b.
Reinstall the plug if it is reused, or replace with a new one.
10.
Start the engine according to the starting procedure.
If the engine still does not start, take the snowblower to an authorized
Honda dealer.
