Drive clutch lever
1.
Be sure to park the snowblower on a level surface, set the parking
brake lever in the ''PARKING'' position, then set the shift lever in the
''NEUTRAL'' position.
2.
Starting the engine and throttle control lever to the ''SNOW''
position.
3.
Squeezing the drive clutch lever.
4.
Set the parking brake lever to the ''RUNNING'' position, and move
the shift lever to the ''FORWARD'' position of the ''LOW SPEED''
range.
It is normal if snowblower can move forward at low speed.
5.
Release the drive clutch lever, and check the snowblower stops.
6.
Stop the engine, and the shift lever to the ''NEUTRAL'' position and
the parking brake lever to the ''PARKING'' position.
Backward stop lever
1.
Be sure to park the snowblower on a level surface, set the parking
brake lever in the ''PARKING'' position, then set the shift lever in the
''NEUTRAL'' position, and stop the engine.
2.
Move the shift lever up to the limit in the direction of the ''REVERSE''
position.
3.
Push the backward stop lever.
Check the backward stop lever moves smoothly, it is normal if the
shift lever returns to the ''NEUTRAL'' position.
When the backward stop lever is abnormally heavy, consult an
authorized Honda dealer.
Other checks
Be sure to perform the following inspection.
1.
Check each tightening point and joint for looseness and wobbles.
2.
Check each part for operation.
3.
Check each part that had been found abnormal in the previous
operating day.
