UPS Settings

The NAS supports connection to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to protect
your system from abnormal system shutdown caused by a power outage. From
the External Device > UPS Settings window, you can enable UPS support and
configure the UPS settings, model and IP address.
The UPS Information area shows the UPS brand, model, AC power status, battery
capacity, and estimated protection time for your UPS. If these fields are not filled,
either the UPS is not communicating with the NAS or it does not provide this
information to the NAS.
