Basic System Reset (3 seconds)

The following settings are reset to their default value during a basic system reset:
Feature/Function
System administration password
Administration > Network > TCP/ IP
Administration > Network >TCP/ IP
General Settings > System Administration >
System Port
Administration > Security > Security Level
LCD panel password (only applicable to
models with LCD panel)
To perform a basic system reset:
Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds, a beep will sound.
Wait for the NAS to reboot.
Basic System Reset
(1 beep)
Press the reset button for
3 seconds.
Advanced System Reset
(2 beeps)
Press the reset button for
10 seconds.
