Reset PureCloud Edge to default factory settings through
LCD panel

Prerequisites

• Be patient. The Factory Restore process can take up to 25 minutes to complete. The LCD panel will go
blank during the process.
• Ensure that the power to PureCloud Edge appliance cannot be interrupted during the Factory Restore
process. If the power is interrupted, the appliance becomes inoperative and you must obtain a new
PureCloud Edge appliance through Interactive Intelligence.
• Do not attempt to interact with the PureCloud Edge appliance during the Factory Restore process. The
appliance restarts multiple times during the process, which is normal. You can safely interact with the
appliance when the LCD panel displays the following message:

1. Press the lower-right (LR) button.
