Activating ABS function
Press and hold down
ABS button 1.
ABS warning light goes
out; if self-diagnosis has
not completed the ABS warn-
ing light changes from ON to
flashing.
When the ABS warning light
goes out, release the ABS
button within five seconds.
The ABS warning light re-
mains off.
If ABS self-diagnosis did not
complete, the ABS warning
light continues to flash.
The ABS function is activ-
ated.
Instead of pressing the ABS
button, you have the option
of switching the ignition off
and then on again.
If you switch the ignition
off then on again and
the ABS light comes back on,
there is a fault in the ABS.

Operating ASC
The ASC pushbutton enables
you to change to off-road
mode (
86) and to deac-
tivate or reactivate ASC.
ASC is active when the ASC
symbol does not show.
This symbol appears on
the display to indicate
that ASC is active in off-road
mode.
This symbol appears on
the display to indicate
that ASC has been deactiv-
ated.
Three-step sequence of
ASC pushbutton operations:
Switch from ASC to off-road
ASC
Deactivate ASC
Activate ASC
Switching and
deactivating ASC
function
Switch on the ignition.
You have the option of
deactivating the ASC
function while the motorcycle
is on the move.
