As when your KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboard is connected to the KOM-
PLETE KONTROL software, the displays below the first four Knobs always show the pa-
rameter values — as opposed to other Knobs whose displays show the parameter name
by default and the parameter value when touched. This provides a quicker way of check-
ing important parameters in a live situation, since their values are quite self-explanatory.
To sum up, all Arp parameter values are always synchronized between your KOMPLETE KON-
TROL S-SERIES keyboard and the connected controller from the MASCHINE family. Again, all
these parameters are described in section Scale and Chord Parameters.

Using the Touch Strips

When your keyboard is focused on a MASCHINE instance, its left and right touch strips always
send Pitch and Modulation data to the focused Sound, respectively.
The way Pitch and Modulation data is interpreted can vary with the Plug-in loaded in the
focused Sound. For example, MASCHINE's Sampler Plug-in lets you configure various
destinations for the Modulation data (in the
