Trouble shooting

There are actions that the end user can take to fix a disruption. However, a professional should
always be contacted before any adjustment is done.
Fault
Low room temperature
Burner "puffs" at start
The panel is "black"
Overheating protection on the

Cause
- Incorrect set on shunt valve
- Radiator pump not activated
- Air in radiators
- Low boiler temp.
- Incorrect start dose
- Overheating protection has tripped
- Low draft
- Burner filled with ash
- Poor combustion
- Low boiler temp
- Ti high flow in the pipes/system
- Leaking seals
- Sooty boiler
- Poor combustion
- Broken sensor
- Low flue gas temperature
- To big chimney
- Rainwater in the chimney
- Micro switch broken
- Overheating protection activated
- No fuel
Action
- Adjust
- Activate
- Vent the system
- Check burner/electrical heater
- Adjust start dose
- Reset (pg 7)
- Check draft
- Clean burner
- Contact installer
- Set the burners stop-temp higher
- Adjust the flow on the mixing valve
- Check seals, contact installer
- Clean boiler
