Calibrate the analog outputs
If the analog output connections of the controller are used, calibrate the
analog outputs as necessary. The analog outputs are factory-calibrated.
The adjustment range for analog output calibration is ±2 mA.
Note: If an analog output is configured to be 0–20 mA, 4 mA and 20 mA (not the
0 mA) are calibrated.
1. Push MENU and select CALIBRATE>CAL OUTPUTS>CAL OUTPUT
1 (or 2).
2. Select a calibration option.

Description
CAL OUT
Set the count value that represents 4 mA on the analog
1 4 mA
outputs—550 to 910. Use a calibrated digital multimeter to
measure the actual minimum value supplied at the analog
output connections of the controller. Adjust the count value
until the analog outputs are 4.00 mA.
CAL OUT
Set the count value that represents 20 mA on the analog
1 20 mA
outputs—3460 to 3820. Use a calibrated digital multimeter to
measure the actual maximum value supplied at the analog
output connections of the controller. Adjust the count value
until the analog outputs are 20.00 mA.
3. Push ENTER to confirm.
Reset the calibration
To set the calibration to the factory defaults:
1. From the Measure screen, push MENU and select
TEST/MAINT>RESET CAL.
2. Push ENTER to confirm.
Note: Push ESC to not set the calibration to the factory defaults.
Enable or disable the passcode
Enable the passcode to prevent unauthorized changes to the
configuration settings and calibrations. The passcode is disabled by
default. The passcode is 3456 and cannot be changed.
1. Push MENU and select CONFIGURE>SET PASSCODE.
2. Push the UP or DOWN arrow to select the option.

from the flow chamber.
1. Drain the flow chamber.
a. Turn the internal 3-way valve handle to the CALIBRATE position.
b. Remove the funnel from the holder and hold it below the sensor
height to drain any sample that is still in the sensor.
c. When the sensor is drained, put the funnel in the funnel holder.
2. Remove the flow chamber cover. Turn the cover
