If you have the necessary
authorisation, you can transfer
internal or external calls to
internal or external subscribers.
This means that under certain
circumstances, two external
subscribers can be connected to
each other via your communica-
tions system.
call charges
Please note:
incurred under such circum-
stances are billed to your tele-
phone. If you connect two sub-
scribers who are not using ISDN
lines, the duration of such a call
is monitored and the call is dis-
connected after five minutes.
3
Conference: providing your
telephone has the necessary
authorisation, you can hold a
telephone conference with up
to three subscribers in all. Inter-
nal and external subscribers can
participate in the conference.
Please note:
conferences with
two external subscribers must
be enabled by Customer Ser-
vice. During the conference,
each subscriber can make an
enquiry call to one further sub-
scriber or transfer the confer-
ence to another subscriber.

taken on another telephone
and the conversation contin-

(visually and acoustically) in the
same way as a normal call, i.e.
on the INTERNAL / EXTERNAL /
MULTIPLE key or the "Team"
direct call key, depending on
the type of team.

Mute (only on the OpenPhone
61): select the mute function
when you want to switch your
telephone's microphone off so
that the other party cannot hear
you. You remain connected to
the other party, however.
Select the mute function again
to switch the microphone back
on.

+/- Room monitoring
This menu item can be used to
switch the room monitoring
function on or off. When room
monitoring is active, the tele-
phone's microphone can be
switched on by calling the tele-
phone's second number (this
must be configured by your sys-
tem administrator), without a
special information tone being
emitted. This feature can be
used in hotels, for example, to
monitor a baby.
