+/- En-bloc dialling
You can use this menu item to
switch en-bloc dialling on and
off. When en-bloc dialling is on,
you can enter telephone num-
bers on-hook, i.e. without
dialling them immediately, cor-
rect them if necessary and then
dial by lifting the handset or
pressing the hands-free key or a
call key. When en-bloc dialling is
off, direct dialling is active, i.e.
when you key in a digit, you
automatically seize a line.

item to configure the V.24 inter-
face.

tion. In order to operate these
applications, you must always pro-

call-variant display is activated,

vate visual call signalling (i.e.
display the caller's name or tele-
phone number) for all MULTI-
PLE keys and "Team" direct call
keys on which team ringing has
been deactivated.

If you often have to post-dial
digits when touch-tone dialling
(also called DTMF post-dialling)
during a call, to access a voice-
box or an answerphone, for
example, you can switch your
telephone over permanently. On
internal and ISDN lines you can
post-dial immediately during a
call; on all other lines, post-
dialling is possible about five
seconds after the start of the call.

+/- Call blocking
Switches call signalling
on/off
for all telephone numbers on
your telephone and/or INTER-
NAL / EXTERNAL keys. Call
blocking can be activated for
internal calls, externals calls or
all calls (int. + ext.). When you
lift the handset you hear a spe-
cial dialling tone.
Note:
if any of these telephone
numbers (call keys) are assigned
as MULTIPLE keys on other ter-
minals, then this call blocking
automatically applies to those
keys too.

Block call key
From the list you select the call
key for which you want to
switch call blocking on or off.
You can also press the corre-
sponding call key. Call blocking
can be activated for internal
calls, external calls or all calls
(int. + ext.). A pictogram on the
left of the key label indicates
active call blocking (pictogram
®).
Note:
if the INTERNAL / EXTER-
NAL key is assigned to other
telephones as a MULTIPLE key,
then this call blocking automat-
ically applies to those keys too.
