Safety Instructions

In the case of any damages which are caused due to the failure to
observe these operating instructions, the guarantee will expire. We
do not assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury,
caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety
instructions. The guarantee will expire in any such case!
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons.
• Only the 12 V direct current on-board networks (negative pole on the battery of the
car) may be used for power supply. Never connect the product to a different power
supply.
• Please see that you operate the product properly. For this reason, it is essential to
follow these operating instructions.
• When the product is opened or the safety circuit is jumpered, invisible laser radiation
may be emitted. Caution - if proceeding in a different way or using any other controls
than those specified in this manual, you may expose yourself to hazardous radiation.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children. Children cannot
assess the dangers involved when dealing with electric devices.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong
vibrations or high mechanic stress.
• Do not operate the product when it is unattended.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of other devices which are
connected to the product.
• When in doubt about how to connect the device correctly or should any questions
arise that are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our
Technical Advisory Service or another expert.
