DESCRIPTION OF FIX
An issue was observed whereby some phones did not switch the displayed
time to account for the ending of Daylight Saving Time (DST) even when
DST settings were configured as "automatic". This issue has been
corrected.
A user observed a low-frequency noise when using an analog headset with
the phones. Equalization filters for analog headsets were adjusted to
eliminate the noise in Release 4.2.0.
To improve audio quality, enhancements have been made in Release 4.2.0
to the handset (applicable to all 6800 series SIP phones) and speakerphone
(applicable to the 6867i) equalization filters.
When using the phone with the Mitel Clearspan call manager and on an
active call, an issue was observed whereby a dial tone could be heard after
initiating a secondary call using a sprecode key and then retrieving the
original call. This issue has been fixed.
A brief audio gap was observed at the beginning of a connected call in
certain scenarios. This issue has been resolved.
With the "Switch UI Focus To Ringing Line" feature disabled, if a call was
on hold and the handset was on the cradle, picking up a secondary
incoming call using the handset would incorrectly change the audio path to
the speakerphone. This issue has been corrected.
6867i and 6869i: When using the phones with the MiVoice Office 400 call
manager, after successfully performing a blind transfer, a busy tone was
incorrectly played. This issue has been resolved.
6867i and 6869i: When using the phones with the MiVoice Office 400 call
manager, an issue was observed whereby users dialing an external party
over a SIP trunk would hear a distorted ring tone. This issue has been fixed.
When the "rtp symmetric port" parameter was defined as "0" (i.e. disabled),
one-way audio was observed in certain scenarios when an active call was
placed on hold and then retrieved. This issue has been resolved.
6863i, 6865i, 6867i, and 6869i: Analog headset gain adjustments have
been made in Release 4.2.0 to help achieve consistency in analog headset
volume in relation to the other audio modes.
An intermittent issue was observed whereby the phones did not respond to
DHCP offer messages in some VLAN environments where there was a high
rate of ARP broadcasts over the network. This issue has been corrected.
M685i: An issue was observed whereby pressing a speeddial key on the
M685i expansion module while the phone was playing a .wav file (by means
of an "AastraIPPhoneExecute" xml object) did not have the desired
response. This issue has been fixed.
Due to an uninitialized data error, an intermittent stability issue was
observed in some instances upon reboot. This issue has been resolved.
