- Noise/sound luminous LED indicator. The parent unit is fitted
with a luminous LED bar indicator(6) that lights up according to
the intensity of the sound picked up by the microphone on the
transmitter. As the noise intensity increase, more LEDs light up.
This function allows you to monitor sounds/noise even when the
volume is turned down.
- Portable Receiver. The receiver is fitted with a belt clip (10)
which means you can carry it with you wherever you go.
NOTE: To guarantee best operating results, it is recom-
mended to place the transmitter (child unit) and the re-
ceiver (parent unit) in a vertical position.
3. Replacing the batteries on the child unit and the recharge-
able battery pack on the parent unit.
Warning: These operations must only be carried out by
an adult.
- Only use rechargeable batteries (parent unit) and alka-
line batteries (child unit) equal or equivalent (with the same elec-
trical characteristics) to those indicated in this manual.
- If the rechargeable battery life starts to decrease significantly, it
will be necessary to replace them (this is normal as all recharge-
able batteries run out over time)
- The rechargeable batteries supplied must only be recharged us-
ing the parent unit and the mains adaptor supplied
- Do not short-circuit the battery poles.
- Do not short-circuit the poles on the mains adaptor connector.
- Never use rechargeable batteries on the child unit
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries as they
might explode.
- This product is not designed for use with lithium batteries.
WARNING:
- improper use of these batteries could be hazardous
- Never leave dead batteries in the child unit, always re-
place them immediately or they may leak corrosive and/or haz-
ardous liquids.
Never leave a low rechargeable battery in the parent unit, always
recharge (or replace if dead) it immediately or they may leak cor-
rosive and/or hazardous liquids.
If the batteries happen to leak liquid, protect your hands and re-
place the batteries immediately, making sure you clean the com-
partment and any other areas affected by the liquid beforehand.
Wash your hands thoroughly when you have finished. Dispose of
all dead batteries according to the differentiated waste collection
regulations in your area. Never burn them or disperse them in
the environment.
- Never mix new and old or different types of batteries.
- Never use rechargeable battery with electrical characteristics
that differ from those indicated in this manual.
- When inserting the batteries in the child unit, always check that
the poles are inserted as indicated on the battery compartment
- When connecting the rechargeable battery on the parent unit,
always check that the pole is inserted in the right direction.
Always remove dead batteries and/or when you don't intend to
use the transmitter and receiver for a certain length of time. This
will prevent the batteries from leaking liquid which will damage
the devices and/or anything in the vicinity.
- Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries pack before dis-
posing of the product.
- Never leave batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or any tools
used to remove them within the reach of children.
- Never burn or dispose of old batteries/rechargeable batteries
into the environment or with urban waste; dispose of them at
an appropriate differentiated collection point according to the

3.1 Replacing the batteries on the child unit
When the power indicator (3) turns red, the batteries need re-
placing.
To insert/replace the batteries, after unscrewing the battery
compartment cover (8) on the back, remove any dead batteries,
then insert 3 AAA alkaline batteries in each unit, checking the
direction of the poles; now replace the cover and screw it into
place.
3.2 Replacing the rechargeable batteries on the parent unit
When the power indicator (3) turns red, the rechargeable batter-
ies need replacing. If the rechargeable battery life runs down, re-
move the battery compartment cover and remove the batteries.
Replace them with batteries identical to those supplied with the
unit, i.e. AAA type NiMh 1.2V, 600 mAh, checking the direction
of the poles. Replace the battery compartment cover.
