2.1 Child unit:
2.1.1 Power:
Powered by mains adaptors 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz / 6.0V
650mA or 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
If powered by the mains adaptor: Plug the adaptor into the input
socket (10) on the side of the device, then plug the adaptor into
the mains socket (after checking that the voltage corresponds to
that indicated on the adaptor - 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
Warning:
- The adaptor cable can strangle children and must be
kept out of their reach at all times
- Inspect the adaptors periodically; if the power cable or the plas-

vices used in the vicinity
Important: Always make sure that the same channel is selected
on both units.
- Voice activated mode
switch The Receiver can operate in continual mode (OFF) or
in voice activated mode (ON). When the voice activated mode
is selected, the parent unit will only switch on when it picks up
sounds/noise from the child unit microphone, and will then switch
off if no sound/noise is received for a short time. Operating in
VOX mode saves battery power.
To select this operating mode, move the switch (6) to ON.
