NOTE
•
If any portion of the oil pump is worn beyond the specified service limit, replace the oil pump as an assembly.
•
Before installation, clean all removed parts thoroughly with clean engine oil.
•
Refer to section 4 of the Common Service Manual for inspection information.
•
Refer to page 1-3 for specifications.

Remarks
• Assembly is the reverse order of disassembly.

At installation, align the hole of the cover with the dowel
pin.

At installation, align the flat on the shaft with the flat in
the inner rotor.

After installation, make sure that the pump shaft rotates
freely without binding.
