Only limited adjustment of resolution and scanning frequency in Force Mode 2
Since the resolution and scanning frequency can only be adjusted to a limited extent in
Force Mode 2, the adjustment process must be repeated when the limit has been
reached until the desired result is achieved.

Active and inactive resolution range
The active resolution range is defined by the values of the data fields "Horizontal resolution"
and "Vertical resolution". This range is displayed in black and centric on the display.
The inactive resolution range is the unused range between the active resolution and the
maximum display resolution of 1280 x 1024. This range is displayed in gray in Force Mode.
To match the active resolution range to the actual video signal resolution, you must carry out
the following steps:
1. Display test pattern with clearly defined frame (e.g. SMPTE image).
2. Use data field "Horizontal blank pixels" to shift the left edge of the SMPTE image pixel-
exact to the left internal border of the gray area.
3. Use data field "Horizontal resolution" to match the right edge of the SMPTE image pixel-
exact to the right internal border of the gray area.
