3-50 ENGINE
• Install the washer and primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear
nut.
NOTE:
This nut 1 has left hand threads.
• Tighten the primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut 1 to
the specified torque with the special tool.
& 09930-40113: Rotor holder
" Primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut:
• Bend the lock washer securely.
OIL PUMP
• Apply engine oil to the sliding surfaces of the oil pump case,
outer rotor, inner rotor and shaft, before mounting the oil
pump.
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1342" to the oil
pump mounting screws and tighten them.
+ 99000-32050: THREAD LOCK "1342"
• Install the pin 1.
• Install the oil pump driven gear 2 and E-ring 3.
50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 lb-ft)
