STATOR COIL RESISTANCE
• Remove the fuel tank.
• Disconnect the stator coil lead wire coupler 1.
Measure the resistance between the two lead wires using the
multi circuit tester. If the resistance is not within the specified
value, replace the stator coil with a new one.
Also, check that the generator core is insulated.
$ Stator coil resistance:
Standard: 13 – 22 Ω Ω Ω Ω (Yellow – Yellow/Red)
% Tester knob indication: Resistance (Ω Ω Ω Ω )
