This customized configuration procedure describes just some of the possible Access
Point configurations. For more specific settings, please refer to the Access Point User
Manual.
Connect the Access Point to the Windows PC with an Ethernet cable (standard or
cross-link).
To configure an Access Point it is necessary to give a fixed IP address to your PC
We strongly recommend that you make a note of your original settings on the PC
before you modify any. This will help you to restore the original configuration of the
PC later on.
• Configure a fixed IP address on the PC
IP address must be in the range 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
