6. Place the new VESA mount over the system fan and align the screw holes in the new VESA mount
bracket with the screw holes in the chassis.

7. Install the four screws to secure the VESA mount bracket to the chassis.

Replacing the system board shield

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the system board shield, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer stand. See "Replacing the computer stand" on page 89.
3. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 94.
4. Locate the system board shield. See "Computer components" on page 29.
