8. Press the internal speaker downward as shown until it is secured in place.

9. Connect the cable of the new internal speakers to the internal speaker connector in the system board.

Replacing the 2.5-inch storage drive

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the 2.5-inch storage drive, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer stand. See "Replacing the computer stand" on page 89.
3. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 94.
4. Locate the 2.5-inch storage drive you want to replace. See "Computer components" on page 29.
5. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the 2.5-inch storage drive.
