Guideline for your workout

When performing exercises, wear comfortable, loose-fi tting clothing and non-slip
gym shoes.
The goal is not to perform a few exercises in a hurry, but to work out regularly over the
long term. We recommend you start by working out three times per week and that you
take a break of at least one day between workouts. If you work out regularly, you can
increase the frequency of your workouts up to fi ve times per week after a few months.
Your body – particularly your heart and circulatory system – need time to adjust to the
changes brought about by the workout. It is therefore very important to only increase
the level of exertion very gradually and to be absolutely sure to take the necessary
breaks during and after your workout. Begin by working out at an intensity that doesn't
leave you completely exhausted. Especially when you begin your workout, work out
at a speed that is pleasant for you. After working out regularly, you can increase the
duration of your workout or the rotating resistance of the machine.

Working out on the machine

Start your workout slowly with low rotating resistance and gradually increase the intensity
to the desired level which you are able to manage. You can adjust the rotating resistance
with the workout computer (see chapter "Functions of the workout
The machine works both the muscles of your legs and arms.
You can adjust the strap size on the pedal. To do so, unscrew
the cross-headed screws on the pedals and set the desired
size. Then tighten the screws again.
Legs:
1. Place the machine on the fl oor.
2. Sit down in front of it on a chair or armchair or lie down on
a comfortable surface (e.g. camping mat).
3. Screw the pedals into the holders (see chapter "Assem-
bling the machine") and adjust the feet straps so that you
can insert your feet in the straps and take them back out
comfortably (see chapter "Adjusting the pedal straps").
Arms:
1. Place the machine on a table.
2. Sit down on a chair in front of it.
3. Screw the handles into the holders (see chapter "Assem-
