The String Trimmer
Guide the ends of the string through the openings in the housing and insert the
spring. Press the spool down into the housing and guide the ends of the string
through the housing in such a way that the string can unwind when the spool is
released. Finally, snap the cover of the spool housing back into place.
Housing with Inserted String
Reattach the spool housing to the shaft. Please keep in mind the housing is
attached with left hand threads.
Strings can be purchased from Westfalia or from specialized retailers.
