2. Installation and connection
During installation and connection the Safety and Health at
Work regulations must be followed.
2.1 Installation
The tyre changer can be installed on any concreted floor or on
any floor covered with a similarly hard floor covering.
Apart from the property of the floor, the Health and Safety at
Work regulations as well as all other national regulations on the
working environment should be taken into account when
choosing site.
For installation on a higher floor check rated load of that floor. In
general we recommend to consult a construction expert before
any installation on a higher floor.
Machine dimensions are given in Fig. 1 and in § 11. Technical
data.
2.2

Fitting of the machine post

The machine post is supplied detached from the machine and
has to be fitted thereto on site. For mounting refer to Fig. 2 to 6
and the steps as described below.

Tighten the nuts (Fig. 2, Item 3) to prevent the machine post
from detaching from the cabinet.
Connect the tube 10 to the connector 12.
Untighten the fastening screw of the lateral panel and re-
move the latter.
Grease bearings and through shaft before fitting the ma-
chine post.
Position the machine post on the cabinet, connect the
tube "T" to the connector on the base of the tower

Fit the machine post with through shaft, bushing and nut
(Fig. 2, Item 1, 6, 3), and align the machine post in vertical
direction. Otherwise readjust the adjusting screws (Fig.
2, Item 7) accordingly.
When tightening the nuts (Fig. 3, Item 3) make sure any
axial clearance is eliminated without hindering the tilting
movement of the post. Tighten the adjusting screw (Fig.
3, Item 4) until it contacts the cabinet (Fig. 3, Item 2), then
tighten the lock nut (Fig. 3, Item 5).

2. Mise en place et raccordement
En général, observer les prescriptions pour la prévention
des accidents pendant la mise en place et le raccordement.
2.1 Mise en place
La machine peut être mise en place sur tout type de plancher en
béton ou d'autres présentant la de solidité.
Pour le choix de l'emplacement, veiller, outre à la qualité du
plancher, aux règlements concernant la prévention des acci-
dents et à la législation nationale sur la protection du travail.
Pour la mise en place à l'étage, contrôler si le sol est en mesure
de supporter le poids de la machine. En général, nous recom-
mandons dans ce cas de consulter un expert en construction
avant toute mise en place sur un plancher d'étage supérieur

2.2 Montage du montant de la machine
Le montant est fourni séparément de la machine et doit y être
fixé sur place. Pour le montage, voir les Fig. 2 à 6 et les instruc-
tions ci-dessous.

Bien serrer les écrous (Fig. 2, Pos. 3) afin d'éviter que le
montant de la machinene se dévisse du bâti.
Raccorder le tube 10 au connecteur 12.
Dévisser et enlever le panneau latéral.
Graisser les paliers et le tourillon avant le montage.
Mettre le montant en place sur le bâti, raccorder le
tube "T" au connecteur "G" présent à la base du po-
teau en Fig. 4B.
Fixer le montant au moyen du tourillon, de la douille et de
l'écrou (Fig. 2, Pos. 1, 6, 3) et aligner le montant en direc-
tion verticale. Sinon rajuster les vis de réglage (Fig. 2,
Pos. 7) en conséquence.
En serrant les écrous (Fig. 3, Pos. 3) faire attention à éli-
miner tout jeu axial, mais sans bloquer le mouvement
d'escamotage du montant. Serrer la vis de réglage (Fig.
3, Pos. 4) jusqu'à ce elle soit en contact avec le bâti de la
machine (Fig. 3, Pos. 2), puis bien serrer le contre-écrou
(Fig. 3; Pos. 5).
