Failure to securely attach child restraint to
base can result in serious injury or death.
Check often to be sure padding is still in place and
the belt is tight.

8. Check Level Line
Repeat steps 3-7 if level
line is not parallel with the
ground.
Adjust the base if needed.
See page 20 on how to
use the base adjustment.
You may need to place a
large rolled towel(s) or foam
pool noodle(s) under front
of child restraint to help
make level line parallel with
the ground.
To Release LATCH
Remove LATCH from
vehicle anchors by
pressing the red release
button on each connector.
Store LATCH when not
in use. See page 34.

Ease of Use Tip:
Make sure harness and buckle fit your child correctly
before installing the child restraint. See pages 6-8.
NOTE: The carry handle can be in any locked
position when installed in the vehicle.
Do not use LATCH along with the vehicle
lap or lap/shoulder belt. Store LATCH
belts when using the vehicle belts.
Check the vehicle belt before each use.
Use only if the belt can be tightened
properly and securely.
