Power Audio Audio Setup The MW5 can be powered by AA batteries, a Shure SB900 rechargeable battery, or through the Shure AFP522DC camera mount. Use the following steps to connect the receiver to a camera. These steps can also be used to connect to other devices, such as field recorders. -

Important! Before you begin: configures the receiver with a compatible tonekey, audio companding, and IR sync pro- tocol. The MW5 does not have Axient ShowLink capabilities. • Turn off the RF on the transmitters for the systems you are setting up. (This prevents them from interfering with the frequency scan.) -

Manual Frequency Selection Restore To manually adjust group, channel or frequency, use the RADIO > SET FREQ menu. Resets MW5 to factory default parameters ( SYST CONF > RESTORE ). Squelch Select and press enter . Squelch mutes the audio output from the receiver when the transmitter tonekey RF sig- nal becomes low or in the presence of high RF noise. - Page 9 Using Multiple Transmitters with a Single Add Current Receiver (MTx Mode) Use this method to add entries to the MTx list individually, based on the current settings of the receiver. • Tune the receiver to the desired frequency. You may also want to adjust the reciever The MTx feature stores a list of presets, allowing you to easily switch from one transmit- camera output level, as this is also stored in the list entry.
