SETTING AND MONITORING THE MACHINE

Settings in parameter menu

The settings described below are generally included in the print job, in which case they do not
need to be made. Manual settings that were made before a print job was transferred will be over-
written by the settings in the print job.

For further details on setting options in the parameter menu, see section
page 44.
Label pitch
Switch to offline mode.

To measure label pitch automatically:
 Press the FEED + PROG keys.
The printer moves the label material forward until the two label starting marks have moved through
the label sensor. The label pitch determined in this way is displayed and transferred to parameter

To enter the label pitch manually:
1. Measure label pitch [57C].
2. Navigate to
[57] Label material (self-adhesive labels)

1. Measure the width of the material web [57D] (including backing paper).
2. Enter the measured value in millimetres.
