MECHANICAL SETTINGS

Position the label sensor
The printer is equipped with a transmission sensor.
By moving the red thumb wheel [50B], you can adjust
the sensor within a range of 80 mm ALX 924/5) or 100
mm (ALX 926) perpendicular to the material. The dial
shows the currently set value [50A].
Reading the value:
Set value = punch position – 2 mm
...where:
• Punch position:
Distance of punch from (inner) edge of material
[51].
• Set value:
Dial value to be set by turning the red wheel.
Example: Punch centre = 11 mm from left edge, sub-
tract 2 mm leaving 9 mm as the setting.
To make the setting, adjust the wheel [50B] until the

required setting faces the marking [50C].

Round labels: To ensure that the start of the label is
correctly detected here, it may be necessary to define
a preset value for the punch offset. This can be set
manually on the printer (parameter
PARAMETERS > X - Printadjust) or using an appropriate
Easy-Plug command.
