CHECK-ADJUSTMENT: RUDDER CONTROL ANGLES

Task may only be performed by an organization or individual trained and entitled to carry out 'Line Maintenance'!
Secure gyroplane against unauthorized or unintended operation!

PROCEDURES
NOTE: Measure points are aft rudder edge and left/right radius between stabilizer and
vertical outer fins.
1 Adjust pedals in neutral position
Note that the nose wheel should be pointed 3° to the left with pedals neutral.
2 Check/adjust N1 = 900 mm (+/- 10 mm) and N2 = 840 mm (+/- 10 mm). See Fig. 1 for reference.
3 Press full left pedal (with nose wheel slightly unloaded for ease of movement) and check/adjust L = 630 mm
(+/- 50 mm). See Fig. 1 for reference.
4 Press full right pedal (with nose wheel slightly unloaded for ease of movement) and check/adjust R = 530 mm
(+/- 50 mm). See Fig. 1 for reference.
5 Check push-pull control cables (threaded articulation rods) tight and secure.
