Repeat steps 4 and 5 to enter the rest of
the name.
To change a character
Press TCURSOR or CURSORt
repeatedly until the character to be changed
flashes, press CLEAR to erase the character,
then repeat steps 4 and 5.

Press ENTER/YES to complete the
labelling procedure.
The disc title is stored in the system memory
and then the original display appears.
To cancel labelling
Press MENU/NO.
Checking the disc titles
stored in the system memory
1 Press MENU/NO in stop mode.
2 Press – or + repeatedly until "Name Check?"
appears, then press ENTER/YES.
3 Press – or + repeatedly to select the disc titles
stored in the system memory between 001 and
100.
To check the current disc title
Press D.SKIP repeatedly to select the CD in stop
mode, then press SCROLL.
Tip
You can also check the disc titles by pressing
DISPLAY on the remote in stop mode (see page 19).
Erasing a disc title
1 Press MENU/NO in stop mode.
2 Press – or + repeatedly until "Name Erase?"
appears, then press ENTER/YES.
3 Press – or + repeatedly to select the disc title
you want to erase.
The disc title appears scrolling in the display.
Nothing appears if no disc title is labelled.
4 To erase the disc title, press ENTER/YES
again.
"Complete!" appears and the disc title is erased.
To cancel erasing
Press MENU/NO during steps 1 to 3.
Erasing all disc titles stored in
the system memory
1 Press MENU/NO in stop mode.
2 Press – or + repeatedly until "All Erase?"
appears, then press ENTER/YES.
"All Erase??" appears.
3 Press ENTER/YES again to erase disc titles.
"Complete!" appears and all disc titles are
erased.
To cancel erasing
Press MENU/NO during steps 1 and 2.
Note
Turn on the system power about once a week to
ensure the stored disc titles are not erased.
