Error Status

You can display the error status in the display window.
Proceed as follows:

Error Indications and Countermeasures
Word in "x" Meaning
A/B1/B2/C S-BUS line is disconnected.
A/B Abnormal
• No reference video signal
detected despite the setting to
switch the crosspoint
synchronously with a reference
video signal.
• A reference video signal not
supported is detected.
a)
A/B Abnormal
• An optional audio board is
attached, but an audio reference
(word sync) signal or reference
video signal is not input.
• A reference signal not supported
is input to the WORD SYNC IN
connector.
— • Backup data for the main CA-65
board are destroyed.
— • Voltage of the backup battery for
the main CA-65 board is
abnormal.
— • There is a problem with the
backup CA-65 board.
b)
A1/A2/B1/B2 • There is a problem with the
power unit.
b)
A1/A2/B1/B2 • No power unit is installed.
b)
A1/A2/B1/B2 • The elapsed time of the power
unit is past the defined time for
periodic replacement.
The error status is displayed in order of importance.

Countermeasures
• Check the connection with a
device not responding, and
connect it correctly.
• Use a 75Ω terminator.
• Supply a reference video signal to
the REF IN connector.
• Cancel crosspoint switching
synchronized with a reference
video signal (set to ASYNC).
For details, refer to the System Setup
Manual (supplied).
• Supply an audio word sync signal
to the WORD SYNC IN connector.
• Supply a reference video signal to
the REF IN connector.
• Check the main CA-65 board (see
"Displayed Items" on page 63), and
download the backup data referring
the Installation Manual.
• Check the MAIN CA-65 board (see
"Displayed Items" on page 63), and
replace the lithium battery of the
CA-65 board.
• Check which is the main or backup
CA-65 board (see "Displayed
Items" on page 63), and replace
the backup CA-65 board.
• Check that the switch on the power
unit is set to ON.
• Check the power cable connection.
• Replace a defective power unit.
• Install a power unit.
• Replace the indicated power unit.
