10. ALWAYS BE ALERT. BE ALERT -

Communicate by using hand signals to tell other drivers what you are going to do. Signal 100 feet
before turning unless your hand is needed to control the bike (see page 8 for hand signal instructions).
13. PROPER LIGHTS ARE RECOMMENDED IF YOU RIDE AT NIGHT.
CHECK THAT REFLECTORS ARE CLEAN, STRAIGHT, UNBROKEN, AND SECURELY MOUNTED.
