Dell SD630-S overview

The Dell SD630-S–Storage Designed for Scality RING is a storage platform that supports:
• One or two processors based on the Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 and v4 processor family
• 24 DIMMs
• Storage capacity of up to eight drive slots
NOTE: The Dell SD630-S system supports only internal, hot-swappable hard drives.
If the Dell SD630-S system is configured as Admin system then Intel Xeon E5-2630 or higher
processor is supported.
If the Dell SD630-S system is configured as Connector system then Intel Xeon E5-2630 or higher
dual processor is supported.

Supported configurations

The Dell SD630-S system is a storage server based on R630 chassis platform with eight hard drive system
configuration.
